Mark Croker's resume:
After graduating from Douglas Freeman High school, where I took four years of woodworking classes and worked part time at The Bookcase Place, I apprenticed for 2.5 years at Owen Suter’s Fine Furniture. My primary job was to build colonial reproductions, such as, dressers, dining room sets and beds.
Starting in 1992, I worked for twelve years with Haley Pearsall Cabinetmakers, Inc. While working with Haley I developed all of my woodworking skills and was promoted to shop foreman in 2001. My first position was as the finisher where I learned many skills like stain matching, spraying lacquers and different faux finishing techniques. Later on I moved back to the work bench honing my cabinet making skills, working in the field installing cabinets and helped to develop projects in the shop.
In 2004 Jill and I had our first child and I became a full-time dad. While home with my daughter I set up my home shop and worked part-time. I produced quality work and developed business relationships.
Mark Croker Cabinetmaker, Inc. was started in July of 2006. By taking my experiences and knowledge and sharing it with my team of craftsmen we are able to provide quality work and personal attention to your projects.
